Crab Creek Review Staff

Crab Creek Review would like to acknowledge that our publications are made on the traditional land of the first people of Seattle, the Duwamish People past and present and honor with gratitude the land itself and the Duwamish Tribe.

We stand against hate of all kinds. In our work to be an antiracist, inclusive organization, we commit to publishing works that reflect those practices and always seek ways to improve ourselves through this work.
Allyship involves unlearning and intensive, personal work. As we reflect on the injustices that have occurred over recent weeks and since the beginning of America, we are working as a team to speak up against racism and hate. With the privilege of being able to publish and promote change, Crab Creek Review shares a great responsibility towards bringing inclusivity into literary spaces.

To ensure that this happens, we plan to:

  1. Curate future content that is focused on equity in publishing, and that honors, amplifies, and uplifts Black and BIPOC voices.
  2. Solicit Black authors and authors of color.
  3. Work on educating ourselves individually and collectively as a team on anti-racism and white supremacy in the literary world.
